The sweet aromas of Mount Cook National Park are a perfect greeting for visitors to the Gungarde Transitional and Cultural Centre, a training workshop space of the Gungarde Community Centre Aboriginal Corporation.
On the way out to the lovely Quarantine Bay, this busy beehive of activity within large airy workshops include a range of cultural and art making activities including printmaking, painting, as well as producing boomerangs, spears and pottery. Visits made by appointment through Gungarde at 92 Charlotte Street.
