Friday 28th Sept – Sun 30th Sept
Home Rule Rainforest Lodge, via Rossville
Presented by Cape York Folk Club Inc., Wallaby Creek Festival is a small, friendly event set in Far North Queensland’s World Heritage Wet Tropics.
The daily program offers music on 2 stages including some of Australia’s well loved festival bands as well as showcasing artists from the surrounding towns and indigenous communities; breakfast with the poets; workshops; street theatre and a colorful Children’s Festival that is just as inviting for adults!
Free camping amongst the lush camping grounds at Home Rule Rainforest Lodge is available with the 3-day festival pass. Food and market stalls are presented to tempt your viewing, tasting and shopping pleasures.
The festival, coupled with crocodile free swimming in the crystal clear waters of the Wallaby Creek, provides an ideal September holiday destination for families.
