Hinterland Add Aircraft

— filed under:

Hinterland Aviation is expanding its fleet with the addition of a Cessna Grand Caravan.

The Cessna Caravan aircraft will be the sixth of the same type and brings the total Hinterland fleet to 15 aircraft.

The Cessna Grand Caravan is presently being flown from the United Kingdom to Australia via Malta - Luxor – Dubai – Colombo – Panang – Denpasar – Darwin and is due to touchdown in Cairns this Saturday at 3pm. It is a considerable challenge to fly a small aircraft half way around the world and Hinterland’s Chief Pilot Ben Wilby will be looking forward to completing the mission when he arrives in Cairns.

Managing Director Mark Dorward says the Cessna Grand Caravan’s are becoming very popular with clients because of the aircrafts modern and quiet design.

The addition of the aircraft will support increasing demand for the aircraft type including a new scheduled service commencing shortly to Coen.
