Local operators take boat trips to snorkel among some of the Reef's most spectacular coral gardens and diverse marine life. This is an excellent way to see the wonders of the Great Barrier Reef and is suited to a wide range of abilities from children and beginners to the experienced snorkeller.

Non-swimmers can also view the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef without getting wet by taking a glass bottom boat tour. Plant corals, gorgonian fan, blue coral, brain coral are just a few of the many varieties of hard and soft corals to be seen along with a myriad of tropical fish.
