We have carefully selected secluded easy access drive in – drive out bush campsites with your own personal campfire and B.B.Q (wood is provided at each site). Now Caravans, Motor-homes, trailers and tents can all experience the Cooktown bush without hassle.

Our uniquely designed brand new ablutions constructed from raw materials retain the rustic feel of the outback while providing hot showers and flush toilets. Adjacent is the camp kitchen with a free large 6 burner B.B.Q., seating for over 20 people and a group campfire place.

Our boat ramp and rainforest spit allow easy access to the river for fishing for that mangrove jack, barramundi or croc spotting.

If you enjoy butterflies, birds and native wildlife our rainforest walks along the Endeavour River or Cameron Creek will delight you. The very rare Cooktown Palm flourishes on the property along with grass trees, fan palms and rainforest plants.

We are also a working farm with Stud Brahman and Working Clydesdale horses. Often you will be visited by one of the family either riding or driving a horse in harness. All animals are friendly and maybe petted and we welcome all hands on deck around feeding times.

If you enjoy the peace and quiet of the bush with night skies full of stars awakening to the songs of birds then Endeavour River Escape is for you.
